This ROXOR, the World's First Botanical Bourbon. It is from New Artisan Spirits, a Dallas boutique Spirits company. We come to spirits from the Food & Beverage world. Our recipe maker is a James Beard awarded Chef Robert Del Grande nad our other founder is Donald Short, who spent his first career in CEO International roles at The Coca-Cola Company. Our experience led us to focus on real plants and their application to spirits. We began with an artisan gin and utilize 12 real plants. As we were considering a barrel-aged gin, we decided to turn the concept upside down and we began work on a botanical bourbon. Our chef selected 20 exotic botanicals to complement the flavor of a 2 year old MGP bourbon, scented with 21% rye. Our aim was to smooth out the rough edges of a young bourbon, while creating more complexity, similar to that found in an order bourbon. We hope you will enjoy it.
