An unusually richly peaty scotch, Authenticus beguiles with its fusion of ripe, developed sweetness and aromatic peat smoke; on the nose charred oak melds with heather honey, softening to peachy- ginger infused with campfire smoke. On the palate, soft cream and jammy currants conceal a crescendo of cocoa-laced peat smoke, building but never overpowering as honeyed apricot and aniseed rise from smouldering embers.
