Domaine Royal de Jarras is established in Aigues-Mortes, in the Camargue region (south of France), along the Mediterranean Sea, where the biodiversity inventory reveals the high ecological and environmental quality of this sandy area. A lot of Pink Flamingos live there, so we decided to call our cuv es "Pink Flamingo" in honor to these fabulous birds, emblematic in Camargue. Since 2019 and after 3 years of conversion, the 1,060 acres of vineyards at Domaine Royal de Jarras are certified organic according to the specifications of the European Union, with an absolute respect of the environment and the biodiversity. Domaine Royal de Jarras produces excellent still ros s thanks to its new high-performance wine-producing facilities equipped with the same pneumatic presses historically used in Champagne and modern thermo-regulated stainless-steel tanks. These assets allow the winemaking team to extract the best juices, a fraction called T te de cuv e. Gregory Michel is the winemaker and production manager at Domaine Royal de Jarras. He is in charge of harvests, winemaking and blending for the Jarras and Pink Flamingo wine range. For him, working in such a great environment with vineyards facing the Mediterranean Sea and wildlife is a great accomplishment.
