Distillery 291 is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado founded by Michael Myers in 2011. Myers is a former fashion photographer from New York who fell in love with the Colorado lifestyle and led to the founding of his distillery. It is named for Gallery 291 by photographer Alfred Stieglitz and his dorm room number in college.
