Our Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is deep, purple-ruby in color with aromas of baked plum pie, dried black currant, lavender and violets with hints of cedar of anise. A juicy entry on the mouth delivers plush, fine tannins with a velvety texture. This approachable, medium-bodied cabernet has full, yet silky flavors of plum, berries, vanilla and graham cracker. A finale of round tannins leads to a dry, smooth finish.
Product Information
Founded in 2009 at a bar in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco by three young wine industry veterans who pooled their money to start producing cool climate Pinot Noir in the Sonoma Coast. 2019 acquired by FFW. The initial intent was to make wines that tasted like the best California had to offer, but were priced so that everyone could enjoy them. Developed strong relationships with the owners and growers of some of the best and most coveted vineyards in Sonoma, working with them to produce wines of depth, purity and balance. In 2013, the refreshing and relaxed Banshee tasting room opened in downtown Healdsburg in the heart of Sonoma County. Most recently in December 2023, Banshee moved to a new home in Alexander Valley with our very own estate winery and vineyards. Our main focus for Pinot Noir is on the cool, rugged, coastal areas of the far Western Sonoma Coast and Sonoma County.
