A fruit-driven wine, with flavors of blueberries and cherries lifted by subtle hints of black olives, spices, fresh herbs and delicate dark chocolate notes. This richly textured wine with sweet tannins captures the heady aromas of the Mediterranean.

With some of the oldest plantings in France, the Rousillon region is steeped in Spanish and French history. In the town of Maury, the Lafage family has been growing grapes and making wines in the Roussillon since 1798. Jean-Marc Lafage was raised in the village of Maury, where Chateau Saint-Roch is located. Jean-Marc Lefage, an enologist, worked in South America, California, South Africa & Australia before returning to Maury and purchasing the 44-hectare estate of Chateau Saint Roch in 2005. Constructing a modern winery within the historic walls of the existing historic buildings, Jean Marc focuses on Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris, Roussanne, Grenache and Syrah. Some of the vines at Saint Roch are more than 50 years old. The USA line up consists of a Rose, Old Vine White, Old Vine Red, and "Kerbuccio" Red blend.
