Founded in 1810, our distillery collapsed at the end of the 19th century and fell into ruin. Despite this and the two World Wars which followed, our Diurachis spirit remained. In 1963, we rebuilt our distillery to help revive the small island community. When you sip a glass of Jura, you'll notice sweetness with a hint of subtle smokiness. But delve a little deeper and you might get a taste of our way of life too. We make whisky but our whisky also makes us.
