A wonderful expression of the classic Bordeaux varietal as well as the terroir of the Napa Valley. The nose exhibits complex fruit aromas of plum, blackberry and a hint of strawberry, combined with brown sugar and forest floor. The aromas carry through to the palate of blackberry, dark chocolate and cocoa powder. Medium rich tannins are present with a long velvety finish.

The estate was renamed to Foley Johnson when the Foley Family purchased the winery in 2012 as a culminaion of their dream and a tribute to their families' heritage. The estate has 50 acres of vineyards located in the heart of the Rutherford Napa Valley AVA and is primarily planted to Bordeaux varietals. The Foley family's mission is to make wines that reflect their eduring commitment to quality, their spirit of achievement and ultimately the tru authenticity of where their wines are grown.
