The taste is big, bold and well-balanced. It touches every part of the palate. Rich, ripe juniper is well-integrated and provides the framework for the Zinfandel barrel additions of warm baking-spice notes with a touch of dark buckwheat honey and candied citrus. On the nose, there's the scent of warm cardamom, baking spices, and truffle-like angelica earthiness. The shimmering light-amber color is the result of the spirit's time in oak.

The Benham's line of spirits all started when our founder, wine brand builder Derek Benham, fell in love with gin while enjoying a proper gin and tonic in Barcelona. From that moment on, he wanted to create a gin that would shine with balance and complexity of flavor - like that first Barcelona G&T. Benham's Spirits are produced at our distillery in West Sonoma County California. We use fresh, hand-zested, local citrus in every batch of gin and we individually vapor distill each of the 12 botanicals in our gin giving us precise control over the flavor profile and the way in which each botanical is expressed
