Dark juicy fruits like currant, black cherry and cassis give way to earthy notes of tea and spice. Well integrated tannins give the wine a long, velvety finish. This Cabernet underwent malolactic fermentation before 13 months of aging in toasted American oak barrels.
Product Information
Growing up in a family of seven and the youngest of five brothers, nothing came easy (or without a few bruises). Even the nightly dinner table turned into a 'survival of the fittest' competition. Forty years later, reflecting on the winery we built together, it's easy to see how competitiveness morphed into cooperation and commitment. We each contributed in our own way, and together we were stronger than any of us alone. There have been times when no one on earth is as exasperating as one of my brothers, but many, many more when I couldn't imagine this ride without them. This wine is a testimony to the bond of brothers. - Chris Benziger.
